I am so excited, I bought this Kindle Book, Right Body for Me about two months ago. I am still busy reading it, but the reason why I am so excited, is that I yesterday I came across The Right Body for Me Book Club. This specific Book Club is being run by Donnielle Carter, who is the Co Author of this book along with Gary Douglas (who is also the Founder of Access Consciousness). I had been trying to implement what I have been reading, but now I have the opportunity to join this Book Club and have a completely different experience with the Author. It will be over 14 weeks – 14 Chapters and includes 14 Actions. Included is also a PDF and Clearing Loops.

I signed up immediately, even though I have missed the first Book Club, which started yesterday (the replay is available immediately, so I can catch up in time for next weeks Book Club). It says it costs $75, but when you add to the Cart it gives you three discounted variations costs applicable for your Country. I chose the 65% option, because the Rand-Dollar conversion is terrible, so converted into Rands this is going to cost me R70 a week, which is very reasonable for the contribution I know this will be to my life. So grateful for this offer which made it possible to choose to participate. If you would still like to join you can click here (please note this is not an affiliate link, just purely a link for ease if would also like to choose this opportunity).

For those that don’t know me, I have been struggling with my weight on and off for the last 10 years. I have tried every diet, different exercise plans, etc. and nothing has got me back to a weight that is maintainable with ease, joy and glory. When I Discovered Access Consciousness and then in turn started reading this book, I realized that I judge my body and the food I put in it constantly. So this book made complete sense to me, because even on a controlled eating plan; under the guidance of a Doctor, I have been unable to get to my “normal” happy body. Even the Doctor was stumped!!!

So my weight has just been up and down and up and down. Even though when I was younger and I thought I had a weight problem, because I was big boned and naturally muscular, it never fluctuated more than 4 kilos. Now I am 25 kg’s overweight!

Going back to Right Body for Me, I stopped reading the book, as I was at the part where I thought I really need to work on not judging what I eat and my body all the time, so I have basically been practicing this for the last few weeks. I must admit, this it quite an interesting and scary thing to practice! But although I have not lost weight yet, I feel better. I have also finally started the online Yoga course I have been wanting to do for a long time.

I think the journey of the Book Club with Donnielle is going to be a huge contribution, as this book is not about loosing weight, it is about learning to have a relationship with your body, asking it questions, listening and acknowledging your body. I think this book would be a contribution to anyone that has any body concerns, whether it be weight gain, under weight, illness, pain, body judgement, etc.

With life being so busy, I have forgotten how to have a proper relationship with my body.

So I will keep my progress and my bodies progress updated here, and share anything I find valuable along the way. I hope that this can be a contribution to you and your body.

Keep on Discovering xx
