In January this year, Jason and I attended a live class with Paul Kearney in Cape Town called Joy of Business. This is an Access Consciousness Class created by Simon Milasas.
What if Business was Joy! What if there was a different way to do business? REALLY?
I worked in Corporate for years, specifically Life Insurance, so I attended lot of training and of course Corporate is very structured.
We have been running our own Drilling Business for 14 years and this was very different to what I knew in the Corporate World. Breakdowns, everything gets dirty, you have to rely on a lot more staff to get the job done, less control, it goes on!
So finding the Joy in Business was a very “head scratching moment” for us!
We continued to do a few more of his online calls, like Explode into Possibilities, Money Come, Being Money 12 Days, etc. and without even thinking about it, we Joyfully started creating things that actually brought us Joy! Four months later, we have started another three fun businesses, on top of our Drilling Business. I think one gets so focused on your “one and only Business” that you can’t even imagine having more than one or starting something else that could turn into one.
So going back to the Title of this post, Dare to be Different in Business, what we have been “learning” at Paul’s online Calls, is that you can be you and you can be different. You don’t need to stick within the borders of what we are taught business should be. Business can be anything, our Life is our Business! Our relationships is our Business! Our hobbies is our business! Everything we create is our Business!
and most importantly Money follows Joy! We can create anything!
We have just started Dare to be Different in Business and it is going to be covering Finance, Investment, Creativity, Leadership & Business. These calls are not the so called normal, structured, listen to the Instructor type of calls or “lessons”! These are interactive where you get to ask questions, where you are encouraged to ask questions. Where you can release any charge that is holding you back from Creating more in your Business and in your Life. We get to be ourselves, there is no judgement, if your child pokes their head behind your shoulder, it is okay! If you want to sit on your couch in your tracksuit, it is okay! No judgement!
