These are so delicious, I had to share the recipe here. My sister-in-law, Lorinda introduced us to these biscuits and then of course I had to make my own. Troy and Jason love them!
Chocolate Chip Cookies:
150g butter
200g coconut sugar (click here to see what it looks like, there are so many brands to choose from)
1 egg
10ml vanilla extract
265g almond flour (you can grind your own almonds or you can buy online or at you local Health Store)
1/2 teaspoon salt (I use Himalayan Salt)
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
125g chocolate chips (I use 70% dark chocolate chips)
~ Preheat oven to 180 degrees, prepare cookie sheets
~ Cream together butter & sugar. Mix in egg and vanilla
~ Add dry ingredients minus chocolate and mix on low
~ Add chocolate
~ Roll small scoops of dough into balls and put on baking sheet with spaces between them
~ Bake for 10 minutes or till edges are golden
~ Allow to cool for a few minutes then move onto a wire rack
Enjoy baking these!
